Me and some of my animation I did over years.
IMDb and vimeo
Hello everyone!
Here I post a small
animation test I did for the last episode, which is in its final stage
of production. We spent a bit more time on it than predicted, but it
will be definitely worth the effort. I hope;)I was thinking that I would like to see how others are doing the animation ..you know, to drop an eye in somebody else kitchen and see the goodies still on the plate. That's the reason to do this myself and spare a bit of magic with others like me.
For all of you that still enjoy 2D animation.

Here I am in Budapest when I supervise few episodes of " The travels of the young Marco Polo" a 2D digital TV serial. It was surprisingly nice to return in Budapest after I spent 9 years working in Hungary. I really meet good peoples there, hard workers and talented animators. As you can see, beside me it is the owner of the studio, a very friendly and nice person, which it is helping me to communicate with the team because my Hungarian it is not a perfect one. But... I had fun and for sure, the team has funny time as well seeing me playing the characters . I believe that a good briefing can save a lot of effort spent for nothing and can give a plus of security to the animator ( in this situation). I meet a lot of situations in my carrier where, I had to imagine what the supervisor or the director sometimes, want to see on the screen. It is very hard and frustrating to work like this, when we all know that the animators in Europe at least are treated like ...expendables game pawns. So, when I had the chance to supervise and lead a team by myself, I remembered exactly what I hated most ( NOT TO DO) and what was helping me ( TO DO) for my short beginner rules list. As animators we have to move as much and sometimes stupid, funny, or dramatic as our characters do . At least we should try our best:) If I don't believe in a character or I don't understand why it have to move and act in a certain way, for me it is almost impossible to deliver a good and realistic scene or Sq.
That's why when I have to explain what the story and the situations are in my plate of production, I do not hesitate to behave like a buffoon acting my characters. Everything for a clear and safe message.
Enjoy:)
